All books selected will be garden/plant/plant loving people forward!
It is a no-commitment, no-stress, fun-filled way to engage and connect with other club members and friends and share your thoughts over a book and relatable experiences. Members have chatted about a book club. But the discussion culminating with the motivation to make this happen was at our seed swap on February 3rd. We were talking about this book, which will be our club’s first read, and everyone around the table showed interest and shared in the discussion. This energy was infectious!
We will read one book per quarter (3-month period) then meet to discuss the book, what we learned, our reactions, thoughts and ideas. Meeting locations may change - maybe find ourselves enjoying nature, a field of wildflowers, a cup of coffee, or a glass of wine as we discuss the book. Quarters are February–April, May-July, August-October, & November-January.
You can read the book each quarter, pick only ones which interest you, meet once, twice a year. You do for yourself how and best it works for you.
To the extent we can, we will schedule a field trip to a relevant location – making a mind–book-experience connection!
